How Paying with PayPal Works

If you don't have a PayPal account, or you don't want to use it, you can still use PayPal to pay. Here's how.

Start by clicking the PayPal buy now button on the payment page.

This will take you to the PayPal website where you can fill in the amount of your invoice and click Update Totals.

After you update the totals, you will have the opportunity to use your PayPal account by filling in the section on the right or to use any credit card by selecting Continue on the left. To confirm that you are on the PayPal site, click the Secure Payments logo at the top. If you have a PayPal account that has one or more credit cards associated with it, logging in to PayPal will make the process faster and easier, but you may continue even without a PayPal account.

To pay by credit card, fill out the section on the left. PayPal continues to offer the option to use your PayPal account. If you plan to pay by credit card, ignore the section on the right.

If you have a PayPal account, PayPal will offer you one last chance to log in and pay with your PayPal account or with a credit card you have on file with PayPal. To pay with your credit card, click Continue.

In some cases (particularly with high-value payments) PayPal will insist that you log in if it recognizes you as a registered PayPal user. This is for your protection, mine, and PayPal's.

If you are not required to log in, the next screen will display a Pay Now button.

After you click the button, you will receive a confirmation screen. PayPal will also send you a confirming e-mail.
